About
Hi, I’m Amy. I’m a neurodiversity coach, consultant and researcher, and I support neurodivergent adults to understand themselves more deeply and build lives that feel more sustainable.
People come to coaching for all sorts of reasons. You might be feeling burnt out or overwhelmed, questioning your career, making sense of a diagnosis, struggling in a workplace that doesn’t fit, or simply aware that something needs to change.
You may know exactly what you want help with, or you may have a tangle of thoughts that you’re not sure where to begin with. Both are completely welcome. We can start with what is happening for you now and work things out together.
My coaching takes in the whole picture: your neurodivergence, identity, physical and mental health, energy, environment, relationships, responsibilities and the systems you exist within. I use an intersectional lens that recognises how race, gender, sexuality, disability and class can shape our circumstances. The space we create is one where you are understood and able to talk openly about the realities shaping your life, without having to explain or defend who you are.
We’ll explore what is making life harder, what you need more or less of, and what might make things feel more manageable. That may include boundaries, workplace adjustments, communication, executive functioning, self-advocacy or thinking about what you want your next chapter to look like.
My style is warm, collaborative and thoughtful. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions and offer honest reflections, without assuming that I know what is best for you. There is room to sit with the complicated parts rather than rushing towards a solution, alongside experimenting with practical changes when that feels useful. You won’t be expected to justify your needs or have anything figured out.
Alongside my professional training, I bring my own experience as an autistic person with ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and physical, multisystemic health conditions including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
My background includes diversity and inclusion roles at large Tech and Creative companies, alongside research into neurodiversity and employment. I draw on my experience and understanding of how systems operate behind the scenes to help you understand and navigate them more effectively.
Ultimately, I want our work to help you understand yourself with more compassion, trust your own judgement and find ways of living and working that don’t require you to keep masking, pushing through or deprioritising your needs.
