About
I am a neuroaffirming ADHD/autism coach, with a focus on:
– late diagnosis;
– AuDHD (diagnoses of both autism and ADHD);
– and managing chronic illness alongside neurodivergence.
My lived experience is in all of the above, and my aim is to offer a compassionate, collaborative space for exploring your life and goals, where complexity is understood and respected.
I am a member of the Association for Coaching, and trained on the highly-accredited ATTUNED Approach Certificate in Neurodiversity Coaching course, which approaches neurodivergence as a natural and valuable part of human diversity, not as a deficit or a problem to solve. Together we will explore how *your* particular mind and body work, and choose tools and strategies that fit with your goals and preferences. I am trained in:
– the latest scientific research and approaches to both autism and ADHD;
– adapted versions of the GROW, SFC and CBC coaching models aimed at ND brains;
– a variety of coaching approaches, with a focus on ethical and intersectional practice.
I have experience in creative facilitation, which I can bring to our sessions, and am influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Disability Justice movement, and nervous system-based approaches (e.g. Polyvagal Theory). I am also trauma-aware.
Whether you are:
– newly-diagnosed and want to explore what this means for you;
– overwhelmed with challenges and need a space to be truly heard and supported without judgement or imposition of outdated models;
– or have specific career or personal goals you want to work towards;
I’d love to help. We will start with a free, 20-minute, no-obligation intro call, to get a sense of how we would work together. Beyond that point, it is up to you how many sessions you have, or how often, and where you want to focus. I can work in an open-ended way or agree a set number of sessions to work on a specific area. My standard session is 50 minutes conducted either on Zoom or face-to-face at my garden office in Hastings, East Sussex, but I can modify this for greater accessibility: we can walk and talk; we can have shorter or longer sessions; we can take breaks; we can work on the phone or even by text or email.
I particularly welcome clients who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and from working class backgrounds. A proportion of my available spaces are always offered on a sliding scale, based on the client’s assessment of their ability to pay, as I believe this is an essential part of ethical practice as a coach working with disabled people.
Get in touch to book an intro call, or if you have any questions.
