Our comprehensive 8-week course delivers essential knowledge for anyone seeking to understand and support sensory regulation in neurodivergent individuals.
Next course starts Wednesday 15th October 2025, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Sensory regulation is fundamental to well-being, emotional stability, and daily functioning, yet it is one of the most misunderstood and overlooked areas of neurodivergent support. This evidence-based program offers a deep dive into the eight sensory systems, how they work, and how we can learn to modulate sensory input to reduce distress, enhance comfort, and promote autonomy.
Using the neuro-affirming ATTUNED approach, this course equips you with the understanding needed to recognise, support, and advocate for sensory needs across home, educational, workplace, and therapeutic settings.
Many neurodivergent individuals experience the world in profoundly sensory ways. What might feel “normal” or unnoticeable to one person can be painful, disorienting, or exhausting to another. Misunderstanding these experiences can lead to misdiagnosis, behavioural challenges, shame, or burnout.
This course offers a compassionate, neuro-affirming approach to understanding sensory needs not as problems to be “fixed,” but as essential aspects of how someone experiences and navigates the world. When these needs are met with curiosity, respect, and appropriate support, regulation becomes more accessible, relationships deepen, and quality of life improves for everyone involved.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to better understand and support sensory regulation whether in themselves or someone they care for or work with. It is especially suited to:
No prior experience or clinical knowledge is required, just curiosity, compassion, and a desire to learn.
